SITE Santa Fe is a contemporary arts organization that provides an ongoing venue for regional, national and international exhibitions and interdisciplinary programs. Conceived as a European kunsthalle, SITE Santa Fe is a non-collecting arts space that uses a renovated warehouse to show year-round exhibitions and has presented three critically-acclaimed international biennials in 1995, 1997 and 1999. The organization also serves the Santa Fe community as a multicultural arts center, offering diverse public programs including a literary series, music series, special events accompanying exhibitions, and a variety of educational outreach programs for students and teachers.
SITE Santa Fe is located at 1606 Paseo de Peralta, Santa
Fe, NM. Exhibition hours are Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.,
Friday 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Admission is $5.00 for adults and $2.50 for students,
teachers, seniors, and members. Fridays offer free admission. Free Fridays
are made possible by a grant from the Brown Foundation, Inc., Houston, Texas.
Decent tours are offered on Fridays at 6 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays
at 2 p.m. Tours in Spanish are by appointment. (information as of 5/00)
