Founded in 1913, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County is one of the largest natural and cultural museums in the Western United States. More than 35 million specimens and artifacts from over 4.5 billion years of the Earth's history are found in the Museum's collections. The Natural History Museum Family consists of four museums: the Natural History Museum-Exposition Park, the Page Museum at the La Brea Tar Pits, the Petersen Automotive Museum and the William S.
