Focusing on her earlier works (1916-1947) and including numerous portraits, this exhibit is an opportunity to encounter the work of an intelligent, thoughtful, and Innovative California artist.
Face to Face. The Paintings of Mabel Alvarez will open in the McCone Gallery at La Mirada November 7, 1998 and will continue through February 1999.
