Rocky Mountain National Watermedia Exhibition
This year, 1999, marks the 26th year for this famed national exhibition, regarded as one of the top four in the U.S. This year juried by the eminent New York painter Burton Silverman, the exhibition includes 91 works by 88 artists from around the United States. A wide range of subjects is represented including dramatic figure studies (a genre in which Mr. Silverman is particularly noted); landscapes, still lifes and abstractions. Awards selected by Mr. Silverman total $15,000.
The exhibition runs August 28-October 17,1999. Admission is free and new Foothills hours begin Monday August 30. Hours will be Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sunday 1-5 p.m.
