is made up of a membership of over 900
- members from all over the United States and several foreign
countries.
- SWS is based in Dallas, Texas. Barbara Ivey - President,

- Melecon - 1st Vice President. Holding their general meetings
on the 2nd
- Wednesday of each month at 2917 Swiss, Dallas, TX. SWS
will hold its
- juried "34th Annual Membership Exhibition"
opening Sept. 19th thru Nov.
- 9th, 1997. Top award of $1500.

- As a member of Western Federation, a group of 10 watercolor
groups in Texas,
- Arizona, Utah and California, members(SWS) participate
in an annual juried
- show in one of the host cities.

- Each month from Sept.-May, SWS holds demonstrations and
workshops by
- national recognized Watercolor Artists, a Holiday Party
in December and
- an information/educational meeting in January. The upcoming
schedule
- includes; Show juror/demonstrator/instructor for Sept.
