The Cleveland Artists Foundation (CAF) is a non-profit regional art history and education organization dedicated to preserving the heritage, researching, and exhibiting the work of NE Ohio artists. Founded in 1984 with a primary focus on the artists of the "Cleveland School," CAF maintained its collection and mounted exhibitions at the Northeast Ohio Art Museum in Cleveland's University Circle from 1986 to 1990. Currently, CAF offers programs and shares its collection with the public by actively mounting exhibitions and lending works for exhibition at other sites, including museums, galleries, art centers and public spaces. CAF mounts an average of six exhibitions per year. CAF utilizes space at the Virginia Foley Gallery of the Beck Center for the Arts. The CAF collection includes works by early artists of the Western Reserve, artists known as the "Cleveland School," and contemporary senior artists of the region. Membership: Open to all.

Cleveland Artists Foundation is located at 17801 Detroit Ave., Lakewood, OH 44107. For hours and fees please see the Foundation's website.
