Identifying exhibition catalogues through Resource Library

In many of the thousands of articles and essays concerning museum exhibitions published in Resource Library, there are references to catalogues for the exhibitions.[1] In December 2013, searching solely within the domain tfaoi.com and using the option "all these words" for advanced search, 2,590 Resource Library pages were retrieved for exhibition catalogue, 3,750 pages were retrieved for "this exact word or phrase" catalogue, and 650 pages were retrieved with "this exact word or phrase" exhibition catalogue.

Let's say you want to find catalogues associated with an artist. You could enter the name of the artist in combination with exhibition and catalogue. For instance, to find out if there is a catalogue published in connection with the artist Augustus Dunbier, searching solely within the domain tfaoi.com and using the option "all these words" with the words exhibition catalogue and for "this exact word or phrase" the words Augustus Dunbier, a December 2013 search would have retrieved 30 pages referencing two catalogues.

If you want to find catalogues associated with a subject, searching solely within the domain tfaoi.com and using the option "this exact word or phrase" for the name of the subject and using the option "all these words" for exhibition catalogue, here is an example: to find catalogues published in connection with the subject Pennsylvania, the keywords in the advanced search would include for "all these words" exhibition catalogue and for "this exact word or phrase" Pennsylvania. As of December 2013, this search would have retrieved 631 pages.

For the above searches Traditional Fine Arts Organization, Inc (TFAO) chose the advanced search option provided by Google.
