The Deseret News says in a July 1, 2005 article "The core list of approximately 300 artists was compiled from lists generated by the Springville Museum of Art, the Bountiful/Davis Art Center, Robert Olpin's telecourse, "Art Life of Utah," and the Salt Lake County Fine Arts Program."
