About the Westmont Museum of Art
The Westmont Museum of Art, formerly named Reynolds Gallery, is located in the Adams Center for the Visual Arts at Westmont College, Santa Barbara, CA. The Art Department page of the Westmont College website states that "...The Museum serves both the Westmont community, and the Santa Barbara community at large with its exhibition schedule, lectures by guests artists, and a supportive community-based arts council that helps to oversee the museum program. The Westmont Museum of Art gives students the opportunity for work and internships in gallery management and curatorial practice."
The three-level Adams Center, which opened in May, 2011,
is nearly five times larger than the old art center. Its central location
on campus allows for greater visibility and gathers all the art classes
in one location. The 31,000-square foot, narrow building extends from west
to east, allowing the classrooms, studios and offices to be naturally lighted
and ventilated.
Please see the Museum's web site for hours and fees.

Unless otherwise noted, all text and image materials relating to the above institutional source were provided by that source. Before reproducing or transmitting text or images please read Resource Library's user agreement.
