Plein Air Painters Paint the Town of Santa Ana for Second Year

Members of the California Art Club were invited to participate in the second annual painting the Sights of Santa Ana. In June 1998 artists checked in at the Bowers Museum for the week-long event in Santa Ana, California. After the awards ceremony, the top prize paintings were exhibited at the Bowers Museum at 2002 N. Main Street, Santa Ana, and other prize wiunners and entrants were exhibited at the Calafia Gallery acroos the street from the Bowers. Artists included John Budicin, Tim Solliday, Donald Hildreth, Bruce Sanford Day, Ken Auster, Jove Wang, and others.
