Richard Stout: Soul's Journey

An exhibition of acrylic on canvas paintings by artist Richard Stout will open at the Museum of Art and Science on May 13, 2000. The exhibition, entitled "Soul's Journey," consists of more than 30 large scale paintings of abstracted interiors and landscapes. The paintings are artistically remodeled from reality, reflecting emotions related to spaces he has inhabited or visited and often alluding to the lives of those who have lived there. The exhibition is featured in the May issue of Southern Accents magazine, and is on display at the Museum of Art and Science through July 3, 2000.
