At The Millennium: Contemporary Paintings From Northern California
A dynamic new exhibit has opened at the Monterey Museum of Art. The second of two exhibitions guest curated by local collector William Hyland, At the Millennium: Contemporary Paintings from Northern California looks at the current trend in contemporary two-dimensional artwork toward elegant surfaces and simplicity of style.
Featuring the work of thirty artists from Northern California, two of them local, the exhibition is now on display in the Dart Gallery of the Monterey Museum of Art at La Mirada, 720 Via Mirada and continues through March 19, 2000.
